Montreuil an Eastern suburb of Paris has played host to the People's Climate Summit and the Village of Alternatives all weekend long. Trade unionists, NGO's, action groups, alternative lifestyle reps and creatives took over the streets, square, town hall and event spaces to voice their collective concerns and frustrations surrounding the past, present and future of the COP. This open platform of sharing was a fantastic arena for showing Fram to public audiences and discussing our project.
La Parole Errante, a venue just outside the Village of Alternatives hosted a series of speakers including journalist and author of "This Changes Everything" Naomi Klein and the director of Greenpeace International Kumi Naidoo, who's speech had the room standing to applaud.
Finally we swung by Le Jardin d'Alice to check out 350.org's hub and the RedLines action headquarters.
